| About The Ladybug Foundation Once, in a garden, I overheard my sister Kelley telling her son and mine about the "luck of the ladybug." She explained to the boys that finding a ladybug brings good luck to the finder. When our family lost Kelley to an epileptic seizure, we wanted to honor her memory and her unfailing belief in goodness and luck, so we have created the Ladybug Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides seizure assistance dogs to those who struggle with epilepsy. | Our mission is to purchase the dogs, and train them to detect, alert, and respond to a seizure, and assist those with epilepsy. Also, veterinary care will be provided for the dogs. Overall, we hope to improve the quality of life for people who need these dogs - all at no cost to the recipient. How can I help? To help support the Ladybug Foundation, we encourage you to purchase Oakwood Farms Barbecue Sauce. A portion of the sales of Oakwood Farms Barbecue Sauce benefits the Ladybug Foundation. To purchase the best BBQ sauce around, click here. Please check back for other opportunities to support the Ladybug Foundation! About the service dogs The dogs we provide are trained at K9 University by Angel Soriano in Yukon, Oklahoma. For more information about the training program, visit their site! We thank you for your continued support of the Ladybug Foundation! Sincerely, The Ladybug Foundation Family |
